WXC champs Jaynes and Ivy join UFC ranks

Detroit, MI- WXC is proud that two of its current champions have been recently signed to the UFC. WXC Welterweight champion Anthony ‘Aquaman’ Ivy made his debut on June 13th. Double champion (Featherweight & Lightweight) Justin Jaynes made his UFC debut a week later on June 20th.

Ivy and Jaynes join Bobby Moffett, Khaos Williams and Dequan Townsend who have all made the jump from WXC to the UFC since 2019. In addition to these fighters making it officially to the UFC, three fighters have been signed to compete in the Dana White Contender series for a chance at a UFC contract.

Those fighters are Kenny Cross, Josh Parisian and WXC bantamweight champion Jose Johnson. Parisian will be making his second stint on the Contender series. The first time he was victorious and got himself a spot on the UFC’s reality show the Ultimate Fighter. We wish all of these fighters the best of luck and they join many before them who have made the jump to the UFC. So now the question is, who’s next?

WXC to UFC – Who's Next?

Over the last few years seven WXC warriors have made the move to the UFC family of fight series. But, what I want to know is "Who's Next?".
