Detroit, MI- Warrior Wednesday II will now take place on Wednesday April 24th, 2019 from Crystal Gardens in Southgate, MI. The show scheduled for March 27th will be made up at a later date this year. Co-headlining the main card for UFC Fight Pass will be a Featherweight showdown between Darius ‘Solobeast’ Estell (5-1) vs Edward ‘The Promise’ Thommes (7-3).
Darius Estell is making his return to the WXC steel, having lost fought at WXC 72 in June of 2018. He lost against the very tough Drew Morais in that bout but has bounced back with two straight wins. The ‘Solo Beast’ is known finisher, having put away four of his opponents in his five wins. He has two knockouts and submissions each in his career. Estell looks to add another finish to his resume come April 24th.
Edward Thommes will be making his WXC debut at Warrior Wednesday II. Fighting out of Hawaii, he has been fighting professionally since September of 2014. He recently fought for Bellator in his last fight but wasn’t able to get in a win his home state. That loss was first time he has ever been finished in his career too. Thommes looks to get back on the winning track and take out the home state fighter at Warrior Wednesday. Of his seven wins, four are by submission and one is by knockout.

This special weekday show on April 24th, 2019 will have five professional MMA bouts along with amateur fights for the prelims. Doors open at 5pm with the action starting at 6pm.
