Detroit, MI- The first Warrior Wednesday show gets another 155 match-up as Dante Brown (1-1) takes on Mattia Fonda (1-1). Fonda will be making his WXC debut where as Brown will return to the WXC steel for the first time since an amateur bout at WXC 65. This will Brown’s first pro MMA bout with Warrior Xtreme.
Fonda has been fighting since 2014 and trains out of team Top Notch. He turned pro last year after three years on the amateur scene. Both his pro fights happened in 2018 and has gone (1-1) so far, with his lone win coming by way of submission. Fonda is ready to start off 2019 with a win and prove himself on a big stage at Warrior Wednesday.
Dante Brown out of SFS returns to the WXC for the first time since 2016. Since then he has turned pro and has had two pro fights. He lost his debut by decision but bounced back and won his second fight by KO. Brown has a lot of experience having fought since 2010 as an amateur, in which we fought UFC fighters and WXC alums Cody Stamann and Bobby Nash during that time. Brown looks to continue his momentum from his first win into what should be an amazing fight for Warrior Wednesday.
