Detroit, MI- A battle of bantamweights will take place at the first Warrior Wednesday on February 27th. Said Kakhramonov (6-1) will take on Pipe Vargas (6-1) in what will serve as the WXC debut for both fighters. This bout will also serve as the co-main event of the evening.
Said Kakhramonov began his pro MMA career in April of 2017. He started off his career winning his first five fights. He suffered his first and only loss to date in August of last year for the Professional Fighters League. After that fight he came back to win his next fight three weeks later in September of last year. In his six victories, he has three submissions and one knockout to his credit.
Pipe Vargas has an identical to his opponent at Warrior Wednesday. The only difference in how Vargas arrived at (6-1) was by losing his last fight in December 2018 after winning six straight. Vargas looks to avenge that first loss by taking out Kakharamonov on February 27th. In his six wins, Vargas has two submissions and one knockout as a pro.
