Detroit, MI- A huge 185 lbs. match-up has been added to WXC 74. Two former UFC fighters will square off against each other inside the WXC steel. Mike ‘Biggie’ Rhodes (11-6) vs Dom ‘Non-stop action packed’ Steele (17-11) on November 9th will be one of the biggest non-title fights to hit Michigan and Warrior Xtreme. This will serve as the WXC debut for both fighters.
Looking at Mike Rhodes, he started fighting professionally in 2012. Since then, he has fought some of the best in the world including Robert Whittaker, Alan Jouban, Zack Ottow, Erick Silva, Brandon Thatch and Rafeal Lovato Jr. just to name a few. The three time UFC veteran is coming off a win in his last fight back in August of this year. Rhodes was able to win by ankle lock in that fight over BJ Lacey. Rhodes has won 8 of his 11 wins by finish with four knockouts and submissions each.
Much like his opponent, Steele is also a former UFC veteran who used to compete at 170 lbs. 185 is the new of home of both Steele and Rhodes as both have tough cuts to make it down to Welterweight. Steele is known for his up close and in your face, high pace style. Expect to see just that come November 9th. Steele is (3-2) since leaving the UFC and that includes a big win in Cage Warriors over Karl Amoussou. Steele knows what a win over Rhodes will do for him so expect a big performance from the man known as ‘Total non-stop action packed.’ Steele has five knockouts and two submissions to his credit of his 17 pro wins.
