Two of Michigan’s best will square off at WXC 69

Detroit, MI- Willis Black and Dequan Townsend, two of the best welterweights in Michigan will finally face against each other at WXC 69. After suffering his first pro lost in April at WXC 68, the ‘Silverback’ is determined to get back on the winning track. However, he will have a very tough opponent in his way as the ‘Tarantula’ Dequan Townsend returns to the WXC steel. Black enters the fight at (3-1) with all his wins coming by finish. His only loss is to current WXC Welterweight champion Evan Cutts.

Townsend hasn’t fought for the WXC since WXC 66,  a fight in which he lost to former welterweight and current lightweight champion Jason Fischer in a hard fought five round decision. Townsend did win his last fight, which was outside the WXC to run his record to (16-7). Of those 16 wins,  10 have come by way of knockout. With his power, coupled with the power of the ‘Silverback,’ this fight should be nothing but explosive!
