Detroit, MI- The next fight for Warrior Wednesday XI will be contested at 175 lbs. That bout will feature Perry Stargel (1-1) against Michael Gillmore (5-2) on January 29th. Gillmore replaces Greg Sizemore who had to withdraw due to injury.
Perry Stargel made his WXC debut last month at Warrior Wednesday X. He fell short in a hard fought match against Floyd Jones by decision. The Ohio native in Stargel just turned pro last year and is looking to rebound from his first loss in over two years. His lone pro win is by KO and he will be wanting another come January 29th.
Michael Gillmore will be making his return to the WXC steel after almost four years away. Gillmore has fought twice for the WXC including his pro debut in 2015. He last fought for WXC at WXC 64 in August of 2016 and since then he has gone (3-1) including winning his last two. He now comes in on short notice to try and make it three in a row and stay unbeaten since 2018. In his career he has three knockouts of his five pro victories.
