Detroit, MI- Ryse Brink (4-2) makes his WXC debut against the former WXC amateur champion in Aaron Smith (3-1) in a 155 contest. Smith last competed as a pro for WXC at WXC 66 and as previously mentioned was an amateur standout for WXC. Brink has never to been to the judges score cards as a pro and looks to bring that exciting brand of MMA to WXC for the first time.
Aaron Smith turned pro in 2016 after competing as an amateur for four years. During those four years he racked up over 20 fights and as mentioned above was the amateur 155 champion. As a pro he has finished two of three wins by submission. His lone loss came at WXC 66 against Josh Shaw by decision. Smith has won two fights since and looks to return to WXC and continue that momentum.
Ryse Brink has fought all over Michigan but will finally grace the WXC steel at Inferno. Brink turned pro in 2016 and has been able to finish all of his four wins. He has two knockouts and two submissions to his credit. He most recently competed in April of his this year and got the win in just 35 seconds. Win or lose he puts it all out there as he has never been to a decision and has only seen round three once as pro.
