Robinson vs Brooks will be WW7 co-main event

Detroit, MI- The co-main event for Warrior Wednesday VII will be a bantamweight showdown between Jarred ‘The Monkey God’ Brooks (14-2, 1 NC) vs Josh ‘Shortstack’ Robinson (12-13). This will not be a championship fight but both fighters wanted to prove themselves on the big stage for UFC Fight Pass so it has been booked for five rounds.

Former WXC bantamweight Josh Robinson made his return to MMA just last week at Warrior Wednesday VI. That was after a three year gap from his last fight. Even though he lost that fight against Taylor Moore, it was the fight of night and showed ‘Shortstack’ still has plenty left in the tank. He now is set to face to Brooks once again, as these two were going to fight earlier this year. With his return to the cage done he is more than ready to fight Brooks on September 25th.

Jarred Brooks fought in August too but over in Japan for Rizin. An accidental head butt ended that bout as a no-contest. With that and previously having two cancelled fights, Brooks is itching to get into action and get his first win since September of last year, when he beat the undefeated Roberto Sanchez. Brooks is ready to go five rounds and prove why he is one the best fighters in the world.
