Detroit, MI- A welterweight bout will serve as the co-main event for our third Warrior Wednesday on May 29th, 2019. The bout will have Mark Stoddard (17-9) vs Bobby ‘Nashty’ Nash (8-4). Nash will make his first appearance in the WXC steel since WXC 55 and Stoddard will be making his WXC debut.
Bobby Nash is making his return to the WXC steel for the first time since February of 2015. Since then he had chance to fight for the UFC three times, all during 2017. After taking 2018 off, Nash is ready to get back in action at Warrior Wednesday. He is hoping a return to the WXC and fighting at home in metro-Detroit will help ‘Nashty’ get back on the winning track. Of his eight wins, seven are by finish with four by knockouts and three by submission.
Mark Stoddard has been fighting professionally since 2010. In that time he has fought some the best in the country but will finally grace the WXC steel for the first time. Stoddard has been on a roll lately having won his last six fights in a row. He hasn’t fought since April of last year so he is very eager to keep his streak going at Warrior Wednesday.
