Detroit, MI- Mike Johnson (1-1) will battle Anthony Fleming (5-8) at 135 for WXC 70. Fleming will be making his WXC debut on Veteran’s Day against Johnson. The Michigan Top Team product has had a tough go as of late, losing three of his last four. However, he has seen the majority of success come at 135 lbs. He is (3-3) at bantamweight in his career. He has also fought at 145 and as low as 130 lbs. Of his five pro wins, two have come by way of submission.
Standing opposite of Fleming is the Stars & Strikes trained ‘Dark Shark’ Mike Johnson. A former WXC amateur champion, Johnson made his pro debut at WXC 68 in April of this year. His second effort was at WXC 69 in July, in which Johnson lost to Mitchell Tucker. That fight was only the second time he has tasted defeat, as an amateur or pro fighter. His lone pro victory came by way of knockout. The ‘Dark Shark’ tries to avenge his first loss against the very experienced Fleming inside the WXC steel.
