Detroit, MI- In what will be a welterweight bout, WXC has added Marcus Maulding (6-8) vs Taras Pikhunyk (13-9) to Warrior Wednesday IV. Maulding will be making his eighth appearance for the WXC and Pikhunyk will be making his debut for the organization.
‘The Mauler’ will already be having his fourth fight of 2019 at Warrior Wednesday. After dropping his first two fights of the year, Maulding came back with a TKO win in May over William Vincent. Maulding now has five of his six wins by KO with the other win coming by way of submission. In 14 pro fights, Maulding has never been the distance. Look for Maulding to put on another exciting performance win or lose on July 3rd.
Taras Pikhunyk will be competing for the first time since September of 2016. Before his nearly three year absence from MMA, the Ukraine fighter was on an eight fight winning streak. That streak dates back to March of 2013 and comes off Pikhunyk starting his career at (5-9). Now training at Michigan Top Team, he is looking to pick up right where he left off at Warrior Wednesday IV.
