Detroit, MI- The main event for the April 24th, 2019 Warrior Wednesday will be a high profile 155 bout between Jason ‘The Finisher’ Fischer (13-4) and Josh ‘The White Mamba’ Wick (10-4). The long time WXC veteran in Fischer will welcome in Wick to the WXC steel for the first time.
Fischer last fought against Adam Smith at WXC 68 in April of 2017. Fischer won a very dominant three round decision, showcasing his great grappling skills. Since last fighting in the WXC steel, Fischer fought once in ACB and also received his black belt in BJJ. ‘The Finisher’ will look to show off his new promotion in the cage against Josh Wick come April 24th. In his career Fischer has 7 of his 13 pro wins by finish, with three knockouts and four submissions.
The other side of the main event is Josh Wick. The Idaho native has been fighting since 2012 and turned pro in December of 2013. He now trains with the Elevation fight team in Colorado and has won four out of his last five fights dating back to 2017. Wick just fought on March 22nd and got his 10th win by submission in the process. Wick looks to make a statement just like that against the former two division WXC champion in Fischer on April 24th. Of his 10 pro wins, seven are by finish with six submissions and one knockout.
