Detroit,MI- A welterweight match-up has been added to WXC 72 as Eric Lora (2-3) fights Konnor Kuppe (5-2) on June 15th. Both will be making there WXC pro debut at Inferno as both have fought for WXC as amateurs in the past.
Eric Lora as stated above will be entering the WXC steel for the first time as a pro at WXC 72. He last competed for WXC as an amatuer, with his last bout coming at WXC 64. That fight was a win over Ken Hunt for the amateur WXC welterweight belt. After that fight Lora turned pro with his debut coming in January of 2017. So far as a pro he has won both fights by submission and has yet to be finished in his three losses. Lora hopes that a return to the WXC will get him back on the winning track as he dropped his last two bouts.
Konnor Kuppe makes his WXC debut at Inferno. The brother of fellow WXC fighter Korey Kuppe, he is also coming out of Macomb martial arts. Much like his opponent, he also fought for WXC as an amateur, back in 2012. Kuppe turned pro in 2014 and won his first two bouts. He had a tough 2015 losing two bouts coupled with a no contest but since then has won his last three fights. Overall he has finished all but one of his five wins with three submissions and one knockout. Also like his opponent, has never been finished in either of his two losses. With these super tough guys entering the cage on June 15th, expect a hard fought bout with neither fighter backing down.
