Detroit, MI- The next fight added to WXC 70 is a lightweight match-up between Moe Shatri (5-2) vs Brandon McLaughlin (4-3). Shatri is currently riding a two fight winning streak, which includes a win over Jake May at WXC 67 back in February. That win was by unanimous decision and in his last fight in June, he got a second round submission victory. Overall in his five pro wins, he has three finishes with two coming by knockout. This Michigan Top Team product is looking to keep his streak alive and move up the rankings as one of the top 155 fighters in Michigan.
Moe’s counter part will be Fuse MMA disciple Brandon McLaughlin. ‘Deep Water’ has rebounded nicely in 2017, picking up a win in April after losing two fights in 2016. Even though he has only fought once so far this year, two fights have been cancelled on McLaughlin. With that in mind, it’s no doubt he is very eager to pick up where he left off in April. Of his seven pro fights, he has never been to a decision win or lose. He sports three submissions and one knockout in his four wins. With that type of track record, McLaughlin will for sure make things interesting when he steps into the WXC steel on Veteran’s Day.
