Detroit, MI- The next fight booked for Warrior Wednesday V is in the welterweight division. It pits Floyd Jones (2-0) vs Paul Schommer (1-1). This will be the WXC debut for Schommer and the eighth WXC steel appearance for Jones.
Floyd Jones started MMA as an amateur in 2013. After six years as an amateur he turned pro in February of this year. His pro debut came at WXC 75 in which he won by guillotine choke submission. He competed again two months later and once again won by guillotine choke. Jones is looking to stay undefeated and go for another finish on July 31st.
Ohio’s Paul Schommer started MMA in 2010. After eight years on the amateur scene, he turned pro in November of 2018. After losing his pro debut by decision he came back in April of this year to win his first pro fight by knockout in the second round. Schommer looks to play spoiler to the home state fighter in Jones come Warrior Wednesday V.
