Detroit, MI- A bantamweight match has been added to Warrior Wednesday IV on July 3rd. Jose Johnson (8-5) will square of with James Dunn (2-2) in what will be the WXC debut for Dunn and the third appearance as a pro for Johnson in the WXC steel.
James Dunn turned pro in August of 2017. He lost his first two pro MMA bouts by decision before finally winning his first fight in February of this year. He followed it up with another win in May to even up his record at (2-2). Both of those wins have come by KO as well. Dunn looks to take that momentum into Warrior Wednesday IV on July 3rd.
After last fighting for WXC as an amateur in 2016, Jose Johnson returned to the WXC steel as pro at WXC 74. On short notice he faced Mike Johnson. In that return fight, he got the KO win. He followed that up with another devastating KO win over Adam King. Johnson has now won his last two fights and three out of his last four. So now in his career Johnson has finished six of his eight wins with five knockouts and one submission. Johnson looks to add another KO victory to his resume on July 3rd.
