Detroit, MI- Someones ‘0’ has to go as two undefeated pros step inside the WXC steel at bantamweight at WXC 69 as Michael Johnson takes on Mitchell Tucker. ‘The Dark Shark’ Michael Johnson won his pro debut at 145 lbs. at WXC 68 over Danny Moore. Johnson’s wrestling and ground and pound worked well against Moore as he was able to win by TKO in the first round. Johnson brings a very aggressive style to the cage and is always looking for a finish. Even though he is only 1-0 as pro, Johnson went 10-1 as an amateur. Johnson will be returning back to his more natural weight class of 135 for this fight against Tucker.
Tucker is 1-0 as a pro as well and won his debut by first round KO just like Johnson. A product of SFS in Brighton, MI, Tucker should be more than ready to face Johnson in July. Tucker will be trying 135 for the first time after having both of his amateur and pro bouts at 145. These fighters are looking to prove themselves as the next big thing at 135 for WXC, arguably the best division in the organization. Expect nothing but fireworks in this match-up between these two young guns.
