Detroit, MI- WXC 70 adds another big fight for Veteran’s Day. Jesse Bazzi (7-3) returns to face off with Eric Ramirez (2-1) at 135 lbs. Eric ‘The Ram’ Ramirez has not fought since February of 2015 and that fight resulted in a submission loss. It was his first and only loss so far as pro. Through many trials and tribulations, he is ready to return to the cage and make his WXC debut. Fighting as high as 145 and as low as 125, he will feel very comfortable at 135 for his MMA return. In his two pro wins, ‘The Ram’ has won both by submission.
A veteran of WXC since 2010, Bazzi returns to the WXC steel for the first time since his win over Jared Scoggins at WXC 67 back in February. That main event fight ended in a unanimous decision victory for the Detroit native. Despite that big win, Bazzi wants to compete for a WXC championship again and knows he needs to beat Ramirez if he wants that chance. Of his seven pro wins, three have come by submission.
Doors open at 6pm with the fights starting at 7pm on November 11th.
