Detroit, MI- The conclusion of our 4-man Lightweight tournament will happen in the main event of Warrior Wednesday III. That fight, which will take place on Wednesday May 29th, 2019 will be Austin Tweedy (11-2) vs Justin Jaynes (14-4). Once again we will invade Crystal Gardens in Southgate, MI.
Indiana’s Austin Tweedy is one of the best 155 fighters in the Mid-West. He has only lost once since 2014 and has finished all 11 of his pro victories to date. Most of those finishes are by submission as ‘The Flash’ has eight of them by that method along with three knockouts. That third KO came in the in the main event of our first Warrior Wednesday over David Putivn. That bout allowed to him earn the chance to fight Jaynes for the undisputed 155 belt. The 28 year old Tweedy is looking to add another finish to his resume at Warrior Wednesday III and leave no doubt he is the best at 155.
Justin Jaynes won the first bout of this four man tournament at WXC 75 in February of this year. In that bout he knocked out Brandon Noble in the very first round. Both of Justin’s fights in WXC have ended in the first round. And once again his appearance in the WXC steel will be the main event, will be scheduled for five rounds and be for a championship. Jaynes has been spectacular for WXC and looks to continue that on Warrior Wednesday. In his 14 pro wins, 12 have been finishes with six submissions and knockouts a piece.
