Detroit, MI- Former WXC Lightweight & Welterweight champion Jason Fischer (13-4) returns to the WXC steel for the first time since April of 2017. His opponent will be MMA veteran Joe Elmore (12-12). Elmore made his WXC debut back at WXC 73 in August of 2018. This bout will be contested at a catchweight of 160 lbs.
Fischer last fought against Adam Smith at WXC 68 in April of 2017. Fischer won a very dominant three round decision, showcasing his great grappling skills. Since last fighting in the WXC steel, Fischer fought once in ACB and also received his black belt in BJJ. ‘The Finisher’ will look to show off his new promotion in the cage against Joe Elmore come February 1st. In his career Fischer has 7 of his 13 pro wins by finish, with three knockouts and four submissions.
Joe Elmore looks to get his first win in the WXC after falling short against the very tough Troy Lamson. Even though he suffered a loss, Elmore showed a fan friendly style that has earned him seven career finishes of his 12 pro victories. Elmore has another tough grappler ahead of him but knows what he needs to do to win this time around inside the WXC steel.
