Detroit, MI- A heavyweight bout has been added to WXC 72: Inferno as Leroy ‘Big’ Johnson (7-2) takes on Jahsua Marsh (3-3). This will be the 10th and final professional bout for the event card. This will be the first WXC fight for Johnson since WXC 64 and Marsh will be making his WXC debut.
After suffering both of his two career loses in 2016, Johnson got back on the winning track in 2017 by winning against long time MMA veteran Ray Lopez. That win got Johnson his seventh pro victory, which dates back to 2014. As previously mentioned Johnson’s last WXC fight was at WXC 64 against current WXC heavyweight champion Pat Walsh. That wasn’t Johnson’s night but with a win at Inferno he can get himself closer to avenging that loss. Of his seven pro wins, he has five decisions along with one knockout and one submission a piece.
His opponent is WXC newcomer Jahsua Marsh. Marsh started out his pro career in 2016, in which he lost his first two bouts. After that rough start he has been able to right the ship and win three out of his last four fights. That includes his last fight just a few weeks ago on May 4th of this year which saw Marsh win in the very first round. Of his three wins, two are by knockout and has only gone the distance in one fight in total as a pro. The Long Island, NY resident will be looking to get the biggest win of his career come June 15th at Inferno.
