Detroit, MI- A women’s bantamweight showdown will happen at WXC 70 as Hayley Turner (0-0) makes her pro MMA debut against Christianna Daniels (2-3). Turner started her amateur career just one year ago and has compiled a (3-0) record. All those wins are by finish, with two knockouts and one submission. ‘The Hailstorm’ last competed for WXC at WXC 65 in October of last year where she defeated Jennifer Johnson. The SFS fighter is looking to continue her success as an amateur into the professional ranks against Daniels.
Speaking of Daniels, this will be her first fight since January of this year. That fight didn’t go her way against the very tough Colleen Schneider. ‘The Demon’ is hoping a return to WXC will get her back on the winning track where she had success as an amateur. Even though she only has five pro fights on her record, she has been training professionally since 2013 and fought as an amateur for two years prior. Of her two wins, both have come by way of knockout and so far none of her pro fights have gone the distance, much like her opponent.
Doors open at 6pm with the fights starting at 7pm on November 11th. Tickets for WXC 70 can be purchased here and are priced as follows; Bleachers- $30, General Admission- $40, Cageside $65, Front Row- $100, VIP table $700 which can seat up to 10 guests. More fights will be announced in the coming weeks, stayed tuned to WXCMMA.com for more information.
