Gordon only needed 17 seconds to defend his title

Southgate, MI– Michael Jordan came right at Gordon as soon as the fight started. Jordan was moving forward and throwing, with a few solid strikes connecting. Right by the fence, Gordon placed a perfectly timed counter hook that ended bout almost as quickly as it started. Just 17 seconds into the very first round and Gordon was able to defend his WXC flyweight title for the first time. Gordon improves to (9-3) in his career and is undefeated in the WXC steel at (3-0). Jordan falls to (3-2) as a pro.

After his main event win at WXC 69, Gordon was very respectful of his opponent and thanked the WXC for opportunity to defend his title. He also thanked the fans on attendance at the Southgate Civic Center. Gordon didn’t call anyone out during the post-fight interview but expect him back in the WXC steel later this year or early 2018.
