Detroit, MI- Night of Champions XI gets its next fight, being in the Featherweight division. Michigan Top Team fighter Elijah Cavender (2-2) will square off with SFS product Adam ‘Super Sayian’ King (4-2).
After losing his first two pro fights, Cavender has turned things around winning his last two fights. Both were finishes, one by knockout and one by submission. Cavender last fought at WXC 73 in August of 2018 against Jorden McDonald. Cavender won in spectacular fashion, winning by first round KO to get his second pro victory. Cavender looks to try to continue his recent momentum against King come February 1st.
Adam King comes back to the WXC steel after last fighting at WXC 74 against Brandon Noble in November of 2018. Even though that fight didn’t go his way, King fought good enough in defeat to have that fight nominated for 2018 WXC fight of the year. King fought Noble at 155 and will be moving down to 145 for this bout. He is no stranger to this weight class and looks to get back on the winning track with the change at Night of Champions. In his career, King has finished three of them with two knockouts and one submission.
