Detroit, MI- Marcus Maulding (4-6) and Greg Sizemore (2-4-1) will step into the WXC steel against one another for a second time at WXC 72. These two first met at WXC 65 in October of 2016. In the fight Maulding was victorious by submission via armlock in the first round. This bout will be a Middleweight contest, the same weight class as the first fight as well.
Much like his opponent, Greg Sizemore is a long-time WXC veteran and last competed for WXC as a pro at WXC 70. That fight was against Kris Lusch in November of last year. In that bout he was able to win by throwing an explosive knee that got him the win by knockout. Overall he has fought five times a pro inside the WXC steel and both of his pro victories are in the WXC too. He has finished both his fights with one by submission and one by knockout.
The many time WXC veteran Marcus Maulding returns to the WXC cage once again, taking on a familiar foe. Maulding won his last fight in similar fashion to Sizemore’s last WXC win. Maulding was able to win with a incredible flying knee knockout over Korey Kuppe. Much like this upcoming bout at WXC 72, his previous fight with Kuppe at WXC 71 was also a rematch. Maulding won that rematch versus Kuppe so expect a very confident Maulding at Inferno. Of his four pro wins, he has three knockouts and one submission to his credit.
