Detroit, MI- With injuries to Elijah Cavender and Josh Visel, both Brandon Noble and DC Carter were left without a fight at WXC 70. However, these injuries allowed the two fighters to try and battle it out in the WXC steel once again. Originally scheduled for WXC 68, Noble vs Carter was going to be at a catchweight of 150 lbs. Due to weight cutting issues, Noble had to pull-out from the bout just hours before the match.
This time around, the bout will be contested at 155 lbs. Despite pulling out of WXC 68 in April, Noble was able recover very well and win his last fight in August. That win over Murjan Flowers evens the Michigan Top Team fighters record to (4-4). Of his four pro wins, two have come by finish with one knockout and submission each.
Since the cancellation of the fight at WXC 68, DC Carter (1-1) has continued to train hard in the gym waiting for the right fight. The BJJ purple belt competed in a few metro-Detroit grappling tournaments to sure up his ground game before accepting the invitation to fight at WXC 70. The SFS product has never been more ready for a fight, especially sine he has already prepared to fight Noble before. A former WXC amateur champion, Carter turned pro in July of 2016. His lone pro victory was by submission.
