Detroit, MI- WXC has added another bout to Warrior Wednesday V on July 31st. It will be a featherweight match-up between Elijah Cavender (2-4) vs Francisco Muniz (0-1). Muniz will be making his WXC debut and Cavender will be making his sixth appearance in the WXC steel.
Michigan Top Team product Elijah Cavender returns to the WXC steel after fighting for 247 FC in his last fight. He came up short in that fight but welcomes the chance to perform for WXC again. This will already be the 3rd fight in 2019 for Cavender who turned pro two years ago in July of 2017. Win or lose, Cavender always puts on a show, having never been to the judges score cards in six pro fights so far. Cavender looks to get back on the winning track against Muniz come July 31st.
Muniz turned pro in 2018 after competing as an amateur for three years. That pro debut came in September of last year where he lost by a very close split decision. The Puerto Rican fighter is looking to be on the other side the equation come July 31st.
