160 lbs. Catchweight bout between Ken Hunt & Marcus Maulding is added to WXC 70

Detroit, MI- Ken Hunt (0-1) vs Marcus Maulding (3-5) will be set at a catchweight of 160 for WXC 70. Maulding has competed his last few bouts at 185, and has even fought as high as 200 lbs. Having lost three of his last four, Marcus is hoping a move back down will get him back on the winning track. He last fought below 185 a little over a year ago in September of 2016. He is (1-3) fighting below 185 and overall in his career he has never been to the judges score card, win or lose. Of his three wins, he has two knockouts and one submission.

His opponent is also making a change in weight class. Ken Hunt made his pro MMA debut back in July at WXC 69, in what was a lightweight bout. Even though he went the distance against Lou Radecki, he fell short on the judges after getting taken down several times in that bout. For this match, he will be fighting closer to his natural weight to have more energy than his previous bout.

Doors open at 6pm with the fights starting at 7pm on November 11th. Tickets for WXC 70 can be purchased here and are priced as follows; Bleachers- $30, General Admission- $40, Cageside $65, Front Row- $100, VIP table $700 which can seat up to 10 guests. More fights will be announced in the coming weeks, stayed tuned to WXCMMA.com for more information.
