Brooks vs Altamirano set for WW8 co-main event

Detroit, MI- The co-main event of the evening will also be at 125 lbs. inside the WXC steel. That fights will be between Jarred ‘The Monkey God’ Brooks (14-2, 1 NC) vs Victor Altamirano (6-0) for Warrior Wednesday VIII.

Fighting out of Texas, Altamirano will look to bring his undefeated record all the way to Michigan to test himself against Brooks. He has fought only for LFA so far as a pro in which he made his debut in December of 2017. In less than two years he has won six fights and finished four of them. With three submissions and one knockout to his credit. He has quickly become one of the hottest prospects at 125 and looks to continue his winning streak on October 30th.

Jarred Brooks fought in August of this year but over in Japan for Rizin. An accidental head butt ended that bout as a no-contest. With that and previously having three fights cancelled on him, Brooks is itching to get into action and get his first win since September of last year. That was when he beat another undefeated fighter in Roberto Sanchez. Brooks is ready to go and prove why he is one the best fighters in the world.
