Detroit, MI- The second bout named to WXC 71: Night of Champions X will be a 145 lbs. showdown between Darius ‘Solo Beast’ Estell (2-0) and Jordan ‘Taz’ McGuire (1-1). This will be the first time Estell has fought for WXC as a pro. McGuire was a many time over WXC amateur competitor before he fought for WXC as a pro in last his last fight at WXC 69.
Before that fight at WXC 69 for McGuire, he has away from MMA for nearly three years. His previous bout, which was also his pro debut was in November of 2014. That fight didn’t go McGuire’s way but after time away from the sport, he came back in July against Elijah Cavender. Even though he got dropped early in the fight, he was able to dig deep and get a submission in the second round. Now with his first pro win and injuries behind him, McGuire is ready to make a name for himself in the talented WXC 145 division.
After having a successful run as an amateur competitor for a few years, Darius ‘Solo Beast’ Estell turned pro this year in April. So far in his two pro bouts, Estell has put away both opponents inside of three rounds. His first win was by knockout and his second bout in September resulted in a submission for the Michigan Top Team product. Estell looks to continue his undefeated run in 2018 by taking out McGuire.
Doors open at 6pm with the fights starting at 7pm on February 17th at the Crystal Gardens in Southgate, MI. More fights will be announced in the coming weeks along with ticket and broadcast information. Stayed tuned to WXCMMA.com for more information on WXC 71: Night of Champions X.
